Hi, I'm Kate, a Product Designer based in Vancouver, BC Canada

Hi there!
I'm Kate Remedio
a Product & UX Designer based in Vancouver, BC Canada

I'm a product designer with 4+ years of experience across mobile games, edtech, healthcare, and consumer apps. I've worked on live games with millions of active users, helped redesign platforms to actually make sense for the people using them, and most recently took on a founding designer role at a startup, building a mobile product from the ground up.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in User Experience Design from WGU alongside an Associate's in Visual Communications from VCC, so both the systems side and the craft side of design are things I genuinely love to dig into.

Features / Projects / Collaborations

9to5Mac | Adobe | Airbnb | NBA | 2K Games | Samsung NEXT | PeopleGrove | The Georgia Straight | Linearity - Vectornator | Vancouver Community College | WWE | and many more!

Design Philosophy
Some of my favourite projects have been the ones that started with more questions than answers. I really enjoy working through the fuzzy, half-defined problems alongside a team, finding clarity together, and designing something that actually holds up once it's in people's hands. I care deeply about building experiences that are accessible and intuitive, not because it's on a checklist, but because every person using a product deserves for it to feel like it was made for them (yes, even your dog!).

What keeps me so drawn to this field is that design lives right at the intersection of logic and creativity. I love the moment when something complex finally clicks into place, whether that's a navigation pattern, a user flow, or a system built to grow with the product. I'm always learning, always curious, and always happy to talk design over coffee or bubble tea.

Design is more than a profession. It's my playground ✨ where creativity meets problem-solving, and I love collaborating with people who feel the same way.
